Our First Garden Plot Harvest!

This fishbowl is full of rocks taken from our garden plot. We add more every time we come home from the garden.

Worms in Our Garden!

The garden plot is filled with big, lively worms. You can't turn a trowel's worth of dirt without uncovering at least two or three worms. (This one is bigger than most.)

On Saturday, April 2, we took a drive to Hawk Haven Stables in Gresham OR and loaded up the car with composted horse manure. Here's the pile:
